I am off to the mountains and to the winter wonderland. (If we manage to load the car.)
Presents are wrapped and hidden; yes, Miss Pain still believes in Santa, although I see that the ideal is getting worn around the edges and begging to crumble -- yesterday she looked at me strangely when I asked her if she had mailed her letter to the Jolly Old Man.
The edibles are packed too; it will be a week of feasting, sleeping and skiing (if we manage to hit the slopes amidst all other activities).
And I would not mind taking a photo or two...
Just in case you are wondering what's inside the boxes, the 2014 Edible Collection includes:
and just for me, and yes I will eat them all Duck Cracklings
Have a wonderful one!
Merry Christmas to you and your family, what a wonderful assortment of edible gifts. I would gladly share the duck crackling with you, yum!!! I have tasted your Sri Lankan fruitcake and it's amazing, the wrapping is just beautiful. Enjoy your time in the mountains, best wishes for the New Year.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Suzanne, and all the best wishes to you!
DeleteOrange peel, raisins and figs is a wonderful combination for a fruit cake. I would choose that edible gift from under the Christmas tree ;)
